LEMBANG, West Java — Indonesia's school holiday season continues to be one of the busiest periods for domestic tourism, as families seek destinations that combine leisure, outdoor activities, and quality time together. Capitalizing on this trend, L’Eminence Golf & Resort Lembang has introduced a series of family-oriented and educational activities as part of its school holiday offering.
Located in the cool highlands of Lembang, West Bandung, the resort is positioning itself as a destination for short family getaways from major urban centers such as Jakarta and Bandung. The property is situated around 40 minutes from Padalarang's Whoosh high-speed railway station and approximately 50 minutes from the Padalarang toll gate, making it relatively accessible for domestic travelers.
To attract families during the school break, the resort has launched a "School Holiday Package" featuring a range of activities designed to engage children while encouraging learning through play. These include cupcake decorating sessions, towel art workshops, drawing activities, and animal education programs aimed at stimulating creativity and curiosity among young guests.
The initiative reflects a broader trend in Indonesia's hospitality industry, where hotels and resorts increasingly offer experiential programs beyond traditional accommodation services. Family-friendly educational activities have become a growing focus as parents look for meaningful experiences during holiday periods.
As part of the program, L’Eminence has also partnered with La Fresa Strawberry Farm, located adjacent to the property. Guests can participate in strawberry-picking activities and receive special discounts, providing children with direct exposure to agricultural and outdoor experiences.
The School Holiday Package starts from IDR 1.79 million per room per night and includes a one-night stay in a Deluxe Room, daily breakfast for two adults and two children, and a complimentary cupcake. The offer is available through an early-bird booking program running until June 15, 2026, for stays through July 11, 2026.
Beyond its holiday programming, the resort features a range of recreational facilities, including outdoor swimming pools for adults and children, a jacuzzi, indoor activity zones for different age groups, and an outdoor playground. These amenities are intended to support the growing demand for integrated family vacation destinations within driving distance of major cities in Java.
With domestic tourism expected to remain a key driver of Indonesia's hospitality sector, family-focused travel experiences such as those offered in Lembang are likely to play an increasingly important role in attracting visitors during peak holiday seasons.
